Why Ehlin exists.
The intelligence community does not have a data problem. It has a fusion problem. Analysts sit in front of four or five different tools, manually copying entity names between tabs, trying to build connections that should surface automatically. This process fails. Not occasionally. Every single day.
A vessel goes dark for 48 hours. An analyst finds it in the AIS tracker. They copy the IMO number. Paste it into the corporate registry to find the owner. Search the owner against the sanctions list. Check the news for any recent reporting. By the time they have the full picture, the vessel has moved, the cargo has been transferred, and the intelligence is stale.
